Gigamon GigaVUE appliances just got SMARTer!
By adding the recently release GigaSMART blade to an new or existing GigaVUE 2404 appliance, the ability to add nano-second accurate timestamps to any, some or all of the 28 1G or 10G ports on the unit, replace the contacts of the packet (obfuscate the payload) or packet-slice the traffic to reduce volume becomes an easy configurable selection.
Accurate time-stamping from direct GPS timing input ensures accurate latency and round-trip-delay measurements.
