Sniffer Global is an enterprise-class portable network analyzer for use as a reactive troubleshooting tool. This portable, reactive incident management tool is ideally suited for a wide range of usage scenarios that are complementary to permanently instrumented nGenius® data sources such as nGenius InfiniStream™ and Probes. By incorporating Expert analysis capabilities and advanced protocol decodes on a portable platform, Sniffer Global is able to help users determine, pinpoint, and analyze the toughest performance problems with great deployment flexibility. It monitors and analyzes a wide range of active network and application protocols running on Ethernet 10/100/1000 and wireless 802.11 a/b/g networks.

Offered with enterprise-class support and services, Sniffer Global is provided on a site-license basis along with Sniffer Global Server for central management, administration, and update capabilities. Sniffer Global Server also serves as a central control facility allowing administrators to understand which users have successfully downloaded and installed what version of Sniffer Global for the purposes of version control. In addition, it includes the ability to monitor usage and activity logs in an effort to help ensure compliance with corporate policies.
