Network Health Check
  • Do you have the time to perform a general analysis of your networks current condition and performance? We can provide this service for you.
  • Information will be collected and analysed from all core/critical segments on your network.
  • A general Health Check, lasting between 1 and 5 days, will provide our customers with a complete breakdown of the hotspots on their network, and a baseline of current performance.
  • This service will provide you with the visibility required to determine if your network is functioning efficiently.
  • This information can also be used for base lining, trend analysis and capacity planning purposes.
  • Problematic areas will be highlighted, and a summary of how the network is meeting current demands and a list of recommended changes that might be required to meet future demands.
  • This service will assist in optimising the network in order to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Information is obtained from core network segments using various Network/Protocol Analysis Tools.
  • The information collected from each segment will be monitored and analysed.
  • The results of this review are presented and a comparison is made to industry networking standards.
  • The results are analysed and documented in a detailed report, which may include optional network mapping and layout documentation.
  • The report will be generated specifying the following information on a per segment basis:

    • Bandwidth Utilisation %
    • Broadcast Levels
    • Top Hosts
    • Top Connection Pairs
    • Protocol Distribution (MAC and IP Layers)
    • Physical Level Errors (CRC's, Runts, Over sizes, Collision etc.)
    • Application Layer Response Times
