Guy has been a pivotal member of the Axial Systems team since 2000. His ability to understand the business value that technology can deliver and communicate this clearly and consultatively to customers, has resulted in him being key in the foundation of many of Axial Systems’ most successful and long-standing customer relationships.
In his role as Director, Guy works closely with key accounts and our technology partners to ensure that Axial Systems’ customers, continue to benefit from market-leading network and security solutions and services.
David has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, from helpdesk and consultancy roles; Dave now manages Axial’s technical team. After joining Axial in 2003 David started to focus much more on IT Security resulting in a great understanding and experience in this area. Dave’s knowledge of the wider portfolio of technologies Axial has to offer, along with the way Axial can deliver solutions and services to their customers is immense. He continues to have interest in new technology and the use of technology, both commercially and personally.
Ade joined Axial Systems in 2010 as Head of Managed Services, with a remit to create a profitable Managed Services business stream, and help transition the company from a Reseller to a Managed Services Provider. He has a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and a MSc in Business Information Technology – a hybrid of MBA and MSc IT. Ade also holds the PRINCE 2 Practitioner certification, which is the premier industry project and programme management certification. Ade brings a unique mix of skills, with extensive experience in IT sales, IT Outsourcing and IT Managed Services, Business Process Outsourcing, IT service delivery, and project and programme management. Previous positions include Executive / Management roles at Specialist Computer Centres (SCC), Telamon Systems (NEC Unified Solutions) and Action Computers (Insight).
Tim joined Axial Systems as the Finance Director in 2009. He has an MBA from Reading University, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and is a qualified psychotherapist. During his 20 years international experience in technology companies he has been instrumental in acquisitions and the integration thereof, preparation of a business for IPO, refinancing activities, gained experience in multi-country management and consolidation accounts and has been key in the set up and migration of international finance teams to a shared service centre.
Peter is Axial Systems’ non-executive Chairman and heads up the senior management team. He is an IT services entrepreneur with experience of start -ups, business development and “turn-around” and has experience in IPOs, trade sales, MBO’s and acquisitions.
Having successfully grown and developed technology businesses in the past, he now brings his experience and direction to the company working with the Axial Systems directors to foster the drive, strategy and execution, which underpins Axial Systems’ success and protects shareholder value.
He is also Chairman of Comms-Care.
Paul, qualified with a BSc Hons in Engineering Science from Exeter University, Paul Spencer founded Axial Systems in 1989 and since its inception; he has played a fundamental role in growing the company, its reputation in the marketplace and its relationships with multiple vendors leading to its success.
Karl is responsible for helping to manage NVM’s portfolio across the UK. Karl joined from 3i where he worked for eleven years as Portfolio Manager responsible for the majority of 3i’s portfolio of smaller investments in the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. He actively managed 29 exits, achieving substantial value uplifts. Notable transactions include the successful sale of JP Corry to St Gobain, Land Instruments International to Ametek Inc and Armstrong Laing PLC to Business Objects. Karl represents NVM on the boards of Axial Systems, S&P Coil Products and Wear Inns.
